Wow, that was lots of work... No I don't mean drawing it (which was of course even more work ), but putting the two scanned pices together and redrawing missing parts... I feel like I have redrawn more than there actually was in the original piece lol Anyways many thanks to PS's Clone Stamp Tool, what would I have done without you D:
Well, so this is the finished version of the drawing I did for my cousin as a Christmas present, which I drew after a beautiful work of Tony Taka but changed some things (look here for more information about the drawing [link]). Sadly my scanner ate the color of the stars... actually I have put silver and red stars on it to match with the whole piece, but well, unfortunately you can't see the colors of them anymore So the Kanji mean something like love and affection, there are pretty many combinations which mean something like that The first Kanji is love, the second is heart, and together it's "aishin".
So again much much love for Tony Taka! Look here for the original artwork from him: [link]
Media: black fineliner, pencils, Copic Marker (red), glitter paint, silver and red stars
you used those metalic stars didn't you? yeh, for some obscure reason, scanners don't see metalic colours.... when I use my glitter pens is the same... you can't see the glitering just a strange colour mixed with grey...
grat work, I can' even seee where the two pieces are together ^_^
Yeah I think they are metalic stars, that's really bad that the scanners can't see those colors With your glitter pens, too, this is so sad that after scanning you can't see anymore how beautiful the original piece is... I kinda hope that there will be some new technology someday which will make better scans hehe
Thanks, I'm glad to hear that, it was really lots of work to match the pieces
i love the expression on the girls face
I'm not completely satisfied with the expression on her face, but I'm really glad you like it
